I’m an independent photographer based in Ostrava, Czech Republic, who enjoys doing pictures the old way, using traditional black & white process and printing in the darkroom. I’m also a pinhole enthusiast and vintage camera lover, the strange girl you will mostly find running around with some kind of weird box. My aim is to capture those moments that will one day become precious memories and make them last.
It began more than ten years ago – I created my own camera from a piece of cardboard. It was a very simple pinhole camera. Then I took out my father’s enlarger out of the storage where it’s been hidden for years and instantly fell in love with the process. In a bathroom lit only with a dim red light, seeing a picture appear under my hands felt almost like a magic.
For me, photography is an opportunity to meet interesting people, visit places I would otherwise never get to see and share my view with others.
